How we will use your information?
We will only ask for information which is relevant to your order, and is necessary to complete it. All information collected from you is confidential and will only be seen by Caledonian Cowgirl, and, if necessary, and our printing partners. In addition to this, we will use your information for internal record keeping and follow up requests, such as testimonial requests, as well as for marketing purposes on social media, our website, in print, and at shows and exhibitions. Sensitive personal information, such as addresses will not be shown. If you do not want us to use your samples for future marketing then please let us know. If you have signed up to our mailing list we will hold your data indefinitely, but you can request to be removed at any time, and if so we will remove your information from our systems within 7 days.
How long will we hold your information?
We will delete your information and data 90 days after completion of your order. This includes any address details and other personal information relating to your order. Email correspondence will be deleted 18 months after completions of your job. Invoices holding your information will be held for 7 years (as per tax regulations).
We take security very seriously and have steps in place to make sure that both digital and paper information isn’t accessed by any unauthorised persons.
You may request to see any information that we hold regarding yourself at any point under the Data Protection Act (1998). We will not release your details to any third party. If you have given us prior permission to hold your data, you may change your mind at any time. Also, if you believe we may be holding incorrect data you can ask us to update and we will do so promptly.
